Overview

I developed a professional, high-impact freelance interior design portfolio website for Shabbir Tinwala. The site is designed with a focus on visual excellence, performance, and user experience, serving as a digital storefront for interior design services. The primary goal was to create a modern, conversion-oriented design tailored to showcase the client's expertise, design processes, and aesthetic vision.

My Approach

I built the website using Astro (v6) for its blazing-fast performance and component-based architecture, paired with Tailwind CSS (v4) for rapid, utility-first UI development. The site is structured across three core pages: a visually engaging Home page, a project-agnostic Spaces (Portfolio) gallery, and a streamlined Work With Me page.

• High-Performance Architecture: Leveraging Astro ensures minimal JavaScript is shipped to the client, resulting in ultra-fast page load times.
• Global Lightbox: Implemented a seamless global lightbox feature in the Spaces gallery for full-screen image viewing.
• Conversion-Optimized Flow: Designed the "Work With Me" page to facilitate client inquiries and clearly outline available services.
